Each space has up to two members. When either member has Duo Plus, that space gets 2048 MB of photo storage shared by both members. The 20-space account limit belongs to the purchaser.
Duo Plus offers new customers monthly and annual subscriptions with identical benefits. Existing legacy monthly subscriptions and lifetime purchases remain supported. Prices, renewal terms and eligibility are shown in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation.
Invitation links and QR codes
Create a link or QR code in the app's space invitation screen and share it only with the intended person. The web page checks availability without showing names or private content, joining the space, or using the invitation. The recipient must sign in and explicitly confirm joining in the app. After installing, return to the link or paste it on the join screen. Links can expire or be revoked; creating a new link invalidates the previous one. If WeChat cannot open the app, use its top-right menu to open the link in your system browser.
Leaving, dissolving and recovering spaces
Either member can leave a two-person space and lose access. The remaining member keeps a read-only archive and cannot add content or invite someone new. Dissolving a shared space requires both members' confirmation. A space with one member can be deleted. Deleting or mutually dissolving a space closes access and releases its space slots for a seven-day recovery period. Cleanup starts after that period and may take longer during a service failure. Restoring a two-person space requires both members' consent and a new space-limit check for both accounts. An archive still uses one space slot and remains read-only after recovery. New space creation pauses when 20 closed spaces are awaiting recovery, until recovery or cleanup brings that count below the limit; deleting a space remains available. Account deletion is separate and cannot be undone by restoring a space.
Plan today together
Arrival time is an ETA you manually share, not continuous location tracking. Both members confirm a meal or shared event before it becomes a shared plan. System calendar export, reminders and alarms require your separate permission and device selection. The designated reminder device coordinates new remote reminders only; it cannot remotely cancel local notifications or alarms already scheduled on another device. Short-lived statuses and reminders stop syncing after sign-out or archival. Changes to a confirmed plan require both members to agree again; the calendar and reminders retain the previous arrangement until then. Withdrawing or cancelling cancels the shared plan consistently. Stopping a repeat template does not cancel already-generated events in bulk; handle those individually.
